Yes! Every body at protests encourages the ones who are considering it to be brave and join! As someone who struggles with health issues, I keep pondering how I can help, and often wishing I could even run for office. I donโ€™t think it would be fair to voters, though, which makes me a little sad. I want so much to do good things for people!

Every contribution matters, from protest, to sharing information, amplifying voices. It all will help get us there. โค๏ธ

I did that. And called. And will keep calling, and probably try to schedule an appointment to meet them in person at this point. I also published this while the BBB was being put through.

Trust me, Iโ€™m doing my part but wish I could do so much more! Just keep up these posts both on your porch. Thoughts on that excellent written post today! I already reposted it and I shared it via message with a couple of folks so far.

Keep on keeping on! Thank you!

Thank you, Lisa. It really does take all of us with our different talents, gifts, abilities, and our shared love for our country โ€“ โ€“ I, for one, repost port thoughts, every time I watch them. Grateful for everyoneโ€™s contribution to help us regain sanity in our nation.

Thank you Suzy! :)

I want everyone to know that every little bit they do helps. I have a weird hope/dream - and maybe I am just looking for the right place - but I think that if we can create a kind of voters lobbying group - not one that is expensive, but that represents โ€œthe rest of us,โ€ and elected people know it does - that maybe we can leverage the fact there are so many more of us against all the dark money in politics. It will take commitment, but there has to be a way we can say, โ€œthis is all of us, and if you donโ€™t work for the greater good, you wonโ€™t be re-elected, period.โ€

There has to be a way.

Thank you thank you thank you! I had a friend braid my hair today after spending the night with her and her two girls. I was there when they came, I was there at the deliveries and I am here now. I needed to remind them that they are seen as you help remind us that we are seen. Iโ€™m praying and preparing. The anniversary of my fatherโ€™s death is July 16. This is the first time in decades that I have felt ok. That Iโ€™m safe and heโ€™s watching. A true gift. From you guys. โค๏ธ Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Iโ€™m so much more ok than I was prepared to be. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿซถ

Iโ€™m so glad to hear that! It is hard to lose our parents. Even though it has been decades I havenโ€™t forgotten my parents death dates, though I donโ€™t dwell on them like I used to. โค๏ธ

Thank you Lisa for your encouragement and words of wisdom. Your words about the Warsaw historian moved through me. There are so many ways to be involved in this, the resistance movement of our time. Thank you for continuing to shine your light and provide shelter in the storm.

You always are so poetic and kind. Since I do them extemporaneously, I couldnโ€™t remember his name: Emanuel Ringenblum. He actually had many helpers. They despaired that possibly the war would destroy the caches, but many have been found, and they managed to leave behind concrete examples of their experiences.

To think his name means God is with us. What a name for such a time.

Your final line here is so profound. I researched a bit after your post just to find his name, but I never even considered the meaning of that name. What a statement, and what a powerful observation.

I have always believed that historians do sacred work. If this isn't a reminder and proof of that, then I know not what is.

Warsaw had the best known ghetto uprising during WWII, mostly because they were warned the Nazis were going to liquidate the ghetto, and it meant the rest of them would be killed.

The MAGA movement just echoes 1930s Germany so loudlyโ€ฆ
